Attendance to the tutorials is compulsory. The tutorials, in classroom setting, will be conducted at THE 3RD SPACE @ 18 Cross Street, #B1-05, China Square Central, Singapore 048423 (tentatively). Candidates will be notified in advance of any change to the venue.
Course Fees
The course fee is S$1,800 inclusive of examination fee (no GST). Retake of the examination will only be allowed for 1 time with a fees of $150 per paper.
The course is approved for listing on the Financial Training Scheme (FTS) Programme Directory and is eligible for FTS claims subject to all eligibility criteria being met. The FTS is available to eligible entities, at a 50% funding level of programme fees subject to all eligibility criteria being met. Please refer towww.ibf.org.sg for more information.
Candidates are entitled to 8 hours CPD.
CTC is a joint effort of SII and the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) to provide formal training to general insurance claims handlers in insurance, reinsurance, broking and agency organisations. The course was launched in 2010 and to date close to 150 general claims handlers have successfully completed the 3-month course and passed the examination set by AICLA. The course, the first of its kind in the local insurance industry focusses on the practical aspects of general claims handling.
